Check-in with your doctor and insurance carrier - ensure that you have renewed all essential prescriptions and that you have all of the proper vaccinations. Confirm with your medical insurance provider if your policy is applicable on overseas emergencies. If it doesn’t, add extra cover to your policy just to be safe.
Bring multiple copies of your passport – In case you lose your passport or it’s stolen, the passport copies will help you avoid any hassle and you will be able to prove your citizenship.
Leave a copy of your passport – Be extra cautious, you can leave a passport copy with someone trustworthy or at your hotel room. You can also make a digital copy and save the same in your phone for immediate verification.
Register with respective embassy – In case of emergencies, problems or general unrest due to geopolitical conflict, it will be easier for your government to contact and get you to safety.
