General Rules, Travel Plan Changes and Price Changes
Airline tickets that are available on the Website are entirely subject to pre-published terms and conditions of carriage and rules, including but certainly not restricted to the cancellation policies as well as other ‘terms of use’, of the respective airline and its offering. The contract in use by the respective airline, when issued, will be between the passenger and the applicable airline. Airlines & Service providers preserve the right to amend flight timings and timetables at any time - timetable changes could result in any travel schedule that is outside of the Company’s purview. Airlines (service providers) can also change or cancel flights or itineraries, in their discretion.
The Company tries to publish accurate information and prices for all its airline services and the respective airlines provide the price and other information to the Company. In case a service is provided to the Company (or listed by) with inaccurate information may it be due to typographical error or any other error in service information or pricing received from an airline, the Company and/or the airline have the right to cancel or refuse any such requests placed for the service before your payment is charged.
Frequent Traveler Points
The ‘Frequent Traveler’ upgrades, awards, vouchers and other incentives or discounts may not necessarily apply to the Company’s airline services.
Code Share
Airlines often enter into "code share" agreements with other airline partners. This signifies that on particular travel routes, the airline carrier marketing or selling the flight does not necessarily fly its own aircraft; in its place, a partner airline is involved via contract to fly to that particular destination. This partner airline is usually referred to "operated by." In most of the cases, you will check-in with your "operating" carrier; although, it is best to confirm your flight check-in location with your ticketing carrier.
Hazardous Materials
The “Federal Law” prohibits the bearing of hazardous materials onboard an aircraft on your person or in your luggage. Refer - (49 U.S.C. 5124) and See http://www.faa.gov/about/office_org/headquarters_offices/ash/ash_programs/hazmat/passenger_info/ for additional information
Prohibited Practices
You accept not to buy a ticket(s) that contains travel segments which you will not use, like for instance "point-beyond", "back-to-back tickets", or "hidden-city" if restricted by pertinent airline. You also accept to not buy any round-trip ticket you plan to use for single-way travel only if restricted by the pertinent airline. You accept that some airlines restrict all similar tickets and practices, and we don’t guarantee the pertinent airline will honor your ticket(s) in the case that you engage in any such practice. You accept to protect the Covered Parties against airline claims, based on these or any other related prohibited practices, for the difference between the full fare of your genuine itinerary as well as ticket(s) value that you purchased.
Flight Segments
The airlines, most of them, require flight coupons to be used in chronological order. For airlines permitting the use of a ticket only for one flight section, if in case you don’t cancel all or any part of the flight itinerary, you won’t use before the departure of any section of your itinerary, you may have an obligation to lose the entire value or in parts of your ticket, depending on the pertinent airline's rules.
Taxes and Fees on Published Price-Airline Tickets
Mandatory taxes (government applied) and airline fees are either included in your fare, or listed independently on the checkout page to give a trip cost. Tax rates that are in effect at the time of purchase are added to your ticket price. Retroactive tax rate increases is solely the responsibility of the traveler. A fee (non-refundable) may be added on each ticket to published price of airline itineraries that include more than one carrier. Itinerary change, paper ticket fees, baggage fees, cancellation or refund fees, and entry/exit fees on particular international flights might be applicable to your itinerary. In no case shall the Company be accountable for any kind of tax, (except its own income tax), duty or fee.
Paper Ticket Fees
Service fees may be applicable and billed to you by third party vendors. These service fees vary depending on the vendor and agency, and can be levied on a per ticket basis. If your itinerary obliges paper tickets to be issued, shipping cost and handling fees may be levied. If in case your tickets are returned back because of rerouting, or are non-deliverable, there may be an extra handling cost charged to you.
Itinerary Changes
Any changes to your itinerary made through the Company may incur additional processing fees.
Cancellation and Refund
Airline tickets and service fees charged for booking may be cancelled within 12 hours for a 100% refund. Additional ticket processing fees may be applicable as per the airline’s cancellation policies.
All cancellations pertaining to airline tickets need to be done over the phone only.
It is applicable only if you have placed a request for cancellation and refund with us, provided that the fare rules allow for cancellation and refunds.
All the refund requests go through a strict sequential format. Once you place the cancellation request with our customer service, you will be notified via e-mail stating that the request has been received. However, it does not specify that you will receive a refund. The e-mail notification is just an acknowledgment that your request has been received and is in process. Upon receiving your cancellation request, we will contact the airline service providers to process a waiver, if it is eligible for a refund. The decision of the airline service provider will be final.
Our service fees in regards to the original booking or reservation are completely non-refundable. We are totally dependent on the airline service provider’s decision in case of requested refunds.
Baggage and Other Fees
You are required to pay extra fees as applicable by airlines for excessive or additional baggage. Please review each airline’s baggage policies individually during the booking state for comprehensive baggage and similar fees applicable.
Entry/Exit Fees
There are countries or airports that charge a fee for entering and exiting the country. These fees aren’t included in your ticket price or taxes and fees displayed on Website. You agree that you are accountable for all such fees. For more information on the entry and/or exit fees of countries, you can consult www.travel.state.gov before your departure.
